Who We Are
Future Tracks is a coalition of downtown Seattle stakeholders – led by the Seattle Metro Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Seattle Association – working together to plan for light rail construction and its transformation of downtown Seattle.
This once-in-a-generation project will deliver six new stations and two new tunnels as part of the Sound Transit 3 Ballard Link Extension—the largest infrastructure investment in Seattle’s history. And how we build it matters. Together, we must ensure that downtown’s businesses, community organizations neighborhoods, residents, arts and cultural institutions, and sports teams regional destinations and events, remain resilient and thriving through this transformative period.
Our broad coalition includes businesses, cultural institutions, sports teams, nonprofits, property owners, and residents working together to guide downtown Seattle through the Ballard Link Extension.
